Meet the maker

Made by hand, with room for surprise.

CLAYCO is the small-batch ceramic practice of Michigan artist Alyssa Imbrunone. Every piece begins with function, then follows the clay: a wavy rim, a painterly glaze, a handle that asks to be held.

The result is pottery for ordinary moments—morning coffee, a bowl of something warm, flowers clipped from the yard—made a little more special.
